Aberdeen's Art Gallery, Museums & Historic Buildings
Aberdeen Art Gallery houses an important fine art collection of 19th, 20th and 21st century works. Aberdeen's award-winning Maritime Museum brings the history of the North Sea to life. Provost Skene's House now houses an attractive series of period rooms, furnished to show how people lived in the 17th, 18th and early 19th centuries. The Tolbooth Museum is one of Aberdeen's oldest buildings and one of the best-preserved 17th century gaols in Scotland. The Cowdray Hall is one of city's most popular concert venues accentuated by superb acoustics.
Duthie Park and Winter Gardens
Duthie Park is a park of 44 acres and has many artefacts including a bandstand, fountains, ponds, and statues. Within the park is the Winter Gardens, which were rebuilt in 1970. These house many exotic plants including the largest collection of cacti in Britain. This is a park for all the family, with activities from boating in the ponds to cricket on the lawns.

Royal Aberdeen Golf Course
Royal Aberdeen Golf Club in Aberdeen, Scotland, was founded in 1780 as the Society of Golfers at Aberdeen and became the Aberdeen Golf Club in 1815. The Course was originally designed by the Simpson Brothers, Archie and Robert of Carnoustie and later re-bunkered and lengthened by James Braid. Hawtree & Company are now engaged as the Club's architects to ensure our classic links keeps pace with the modern game. The club's 'Royal' designation was awarded by Edward VII in 1903.
Satrosphere
Satrosphere is Scotland's first science and discovery centre. Originally opened in 1988, we have been engaging people with science for over 21 years. Our interactive, hands-on exhibits and live science shows help our visitors discover more about the world around them and the science of how things work.
Doonies Farm
Doonies Rare Breeds Farm covers 134 acres on the southern side of Aberdeen from Nigg Bay to Cove. We are only 15 minutes by car from the centre of Aberdeen. Doonies Rare Breeds Farm is a member of the Rare Breeds Survival Trust and is one of only two farms in Scotland to be awarded "Approved Conservation Farm Park Status."
North East Castle Trail
Often referred to as Castle Country, the historic Northeast of Scotland is home to around a thousand castles or castle ruins, providing a wealth of history to explore; from gruesome tales of battles fought, to strolls through romantic family estates. North East Coastal Trail
The Coastal Trail is a journey through some of Europe's most unspoilt and picturesque coastline. Along the way you'll find cliff tops and coves, beaches and bays, and towns and villages. There's a wide range of visitor attractions, nature reserves and other places of natural interest as you follow the 165 mile sign posted trail.
North East Victorian Trail
The Victorian Heritage Trail takes you through many of the historic places that make the picturesque Dee and Don valleys, in the north east of Scotland, a truly majestic place.
Balmoral Castle
Set amongst the magnificent scenery of Royal Deeside, in the shadows of Lochnagar is the Balmoral Estate. Purchased by Queen Victoria in 1848, the Estate has been the Scottish Home of the British Royal Family ever since.
